City Play: The city in which children play

Moscow City Museum & Observation Deck launches children’s architectural Studio CityPlay together with the architectural club "Horses on the balcony". Classes will start on April 29, designed for children from 4 to 12 years. Possible participation of parents in the process.

The first block of classes — "Creative experiment" - is a series of four two-hour classes, immersion of children in the profession of architect, understanding of the city and the creation of children’s urban spaces.

The children will work with specialists from different fields: architects, psychologists, artists. The classes are simultaneously attended by children of different ages, so that the younger ones learn from the older ones, and the older ones learn to take responsibility for the common cause. Everyone gets a new experience of interaction, which is absent in the usual age groups.

Classes will be held at the site of the Museum — the Moscow City observation Deck, at an altitude of 215 meters, with panoramic views of the city and its key architectural attractions.
The course includes four experiments: "city of the future", "Decoration of gray everyday life", "tower Image" and "human nests".
